What V-Bucks cost

V-Bucks are sold by Epic Games in fixed packs, and the bigger the pack, the less each V-Buck costs. Official prices here are Epic's standard US prices before sales tax; prices in other countries and on some platforms differ. Because you can only buy whole packs, the calculator also works out the cheapest combination of packs for the amount you need.

Item Shop prices in dollars

Item Shop prices are set in V-Bucks, so their dollar price depends on how you bought the V-Bucks. Outfits usually cost 800, 1,200, 1,500 or 2,000 V-Bucks depending on rarity, and the Battle Pass costs 950 V-Bucks. The table above converts each of them at today's rates.

V-Bucks can't be turned back into money

There is no official way to cash V-Bucks out, so their dollar value is simply what they cost to buy. Spent V-Bucks can sometimes be returned for a refund in V-Bucks through Fortnite's return requests, but never for cash.

Paying less for V-Bucks

Buying a larger pack lowers the price per V-Buck, and the Fortnite Crew subscription includes 1,000 V-Bucks every month along with the Battle Pass. V-Bucks top-ups and gift cards from resellers can be cheaper than the official store during promotions; the live top-up rate above shows the cheapest listing on Mr. Gold right now.
