Terms of service

1. The service

Mr. Gold is an online marketplace that connects buyers and independent sellers of digital game goods and services. Mr. Gold is not the seller of goods listed by users and acts as a payment intermediary and escrow agent for transactions completed on the platform.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter a binding contract.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity on your account.
• One person may not operate multiple accounts to manipulate reviews, prices or disputes.

3. Buying

• Payments are held by Mr. Gold until the order is confirmed by the buyer or automatically 72 hours after the seller marks it as delivered.
• Confirm an order only after you have received everything you paid for. Confirmed orders can only be disputed under an active account warranty.
• Refunds are credited to your Mr. Gold balance unless required otherwise by law or by the payment provider.

4. Selling

• Sellers must be verified and must comply with our seller rules.
• Sellers may only list goods they legally own or are entitled to sell, and must deliver within the guaranteed delivery time.
• Mr. Gold deducts a commission from each completed sale as described on the fees page.
• Earnings from account sales are held during the free warranty period of 7 days.

5. Disputes

Either party may open a dispute on an eligible order. Mr. Gold support reviews the order chat and evidence and may refund the buyer, release funds to the seller, or take other reasonable action. Our decision on a dispute is final within the platform.

6. Prohibited conduct

• Trading outside the platform after making contact on Mr. Gold, or asking others to do so.
• Fraud, chargebacks, money laundering, selling stolen or illegally obtained goods.
• Harassment, hate speech, spam, or attempts to compromise other users' accounts.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms and withhold funds related to fraudulent activity.

7. Game publishers

Mr. Gold is not affiliated with game publishers. Some publishers restrict trading of accounts or items in their terms. You are solely responsible for complying with the rules of the games you play.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mr. Gold's liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount paid for that order. We are not liable for actions taken by game publishers against user accounts.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the site, and continued use after changes means you accept them.
