Combat basics: dodge, Daze and chain attacks
Perfect dodges and parries reward good timing. Building up an enemy's Daze meter staggers them, opening chain attacks where you swap between agents for big damage. Stun-type agents are built for this, so most teams include one.
Build a team
Good teams combine roles and bonuses:
- An Attack or Anomaly agent who deals most of the damage.
- A Stun agent who builds Daze quickly.
- A Support or Defense agent who buffs, heals or shields.
- Agents of the same attribute or faction often unlock extra team bonuses.
Spend Battery Charge wisely
Battery Charge is your daily stamina. Spend it on agent levels, skills and W-Engine upgrades for your main team before farming Drive Disks, which have random stats. Don't let it overflow.
Drive Disks and W-Engines
Drive Disks are the biggest stat source once your agents are leveled. Aim for the right set bonuses and main stats first — for example, critical stats or attack for damage dealers. W-Engines are weapons; one that suits your agent's role is better than a higher-rarity one that doesn't.
Signal Search without regrets
Signal Search (pulls) uses Polychromes and Master Tapes. Banners have pity, so track your count and save for agents you really want. Events, commissions and endgame modes give a steady stream of free pulls.
