Combat: swap with intros and outros
When a character's Concerto Energy is full, swapping triggers an outro skill and the next character's intro skill. These swaps are a big part of damage and buffs, so build teams where characters support each other's swaps. Dodging at the right moment also triggers counterattacks.
Your first team
A typical team has three roles:
- A main damage dealer who stays on the field most of the fight.
- A sub-damage dealer or buffer who boosts the main DPS through outros.
- A healer or shielder for survival.
Echoes
Echoes are captured from defeated enemies and work as both gear and abilities. Equip a set that matches your character's element, and level the main Echo with the best active skill. Focus on main stats first, then substats.
Spend Waveplates wisely
Waveplates are your daily stamina. Early on, spend them on character and weapon experience, ascension materials and skill upgrades for your main team. Data Bank level, raised by capturing Echoes, improves Echo quality, so capture often while exploring.
Convenes and pity
Convenes are the gacha system. Banners have pity, so track your count and save for characters you really want. Exploration, events and endgame modes such as the Tower of Adversity give a steady supply of Astrite.
