Choose a civilization
Each civilization gives bonuses and a starting commander. Pick one that suits your goals — some favour infantry, cavalry or archers, others economy. You can change later, but it costs resources.
Upgrade your City Hall
The City Hall unlocks new buildings, troops and research. Keep builders busy towards the next City Hall level, and upgrade the buildings it requires along the way.
Invest in a few commanders
Sculptures and talent points are limited. Focus on a small number of strong commanders for your main marches, plus a good gathering commander, instead of spreading resources.
Daily routine
Small daily actions add up:
- Keep gathering marches out on resource nodes.
- Complete daily objectives and claim chests.
- Help alliance members with construction and research.
- Save speedups for events that reward them.
Alliances and KvK
An active alliance gives territory bonuses, help and protection. Kingdom vs Kingdom (KvK) events are where the game's biggest battles happen, so prepare troops and commanders before they start.
