Level with quests
Take quests from NPCs on each island and defeat the enemies they ask for. Move to the next island once quests stop giving good experience. Grouping with other players speeds up harder quests and bosses.
Spend stat points wisely
Stat points shape your build:
- Strength boosts melee and fighting styles.
- Weapon boosts swords and other weapons.
- Defense adds health and survivability.
- Fruit power boosts devil fruit abilities.
- Focus on one or two damage stats plus defense instead of spreading points.
Devil fruits vs fighting styles
Devil fruits give powerful abilities but make you weak to water. Fighting styles and swords don't have that weakness and can be strong on their own. Many players combine a fruit with a fighting style or sword for flexibility.
Haki
Haki unlocks as you progress and boosts both offence and defence, including hitting fruit users who would otherwise avoid damage. Train it whenever you can — it becomes essential later.
Sailing and trading
You'll travel between islands by boat, so upgrade it to survive longer trips. Fruits and rare items are often traded between players — check current values and use the in-game trade system only.
