Diablo 4 Leveling and Gold Farming Guide
Diablo IV is at its best when you're cutting through hordes with a build that's coming together. Each season brings new mechanics, but the fastest ways to level, farm gold and gear up stay much the same.

Level faster
Leveling is fastest when you raise the difficulty as soon as your character can handle it — higher difficulties give more experience. Helltides, dungeons and seasonal activities give good experience, and playing in a group adds a bonus. Use elixirs for extra experience during long sessions.
Farm gold efficiently
Gold pays for rerolling, tempering and masterworking:
- Salvage or sell items you don't need instead of leaving them on the ground.
- Higher difficulties drop more gold and better items.
- Helltides and seasonal events give a steady flow of gold and materials.
- Avoid spending gold on enchanting low-value items.
Use the Paragon board
After the level cap, Paragon points let you grow your character on the Paragon boards. Follow a route that strengthens your main skill, and place glyphs in sockets surrounded by the stats they scale with. Level glyphs in the Pit to unlock their bonus effects.
Aspects, uniques and crafting
Legendary aspects change how skills work and are the core of most builds. Save the best ones in the Codex of Power and imprint them on good gear. Tempering and masterworking let you push your best items further, so focus resources on pieces you'll keep for a long time.
Endgame progression
Push gradually: clear the Pit and endgame bosses at a level where you don't die, upgrade gear, then move up. Seasonal mechanics often give powerful bonuses — learn them early in each season.
