Bee Swarm Simulator Beginner Guide: Honey, Bees and Hive Colors

Bee Swarm Simulator is one of Roblox's longest-running hits: collect pollen, turn it into honey and grow a swarm of bees. Progress is slow at first, but the right choices make it much faster.

Pollen to honey

Collect pollen in fields, then convert it into honey at your hive. Upgrading your collector tool and backpack lets you carry more per trip, which is the biggest early boost.

Do bear quests

Quest givers around the map reward honey, eggs, tickets and items. Their quests guide you through the game, so keep a few active at all times.

Grow your hive

More bees means more pollen:

  • Buy more hive slots as you earn honey.
  • Hatch eggs to get new bees.
  • Feed treats to level bees up.
  • Use Royal Jelly to reroll bees into rarer types.

Choose a hive color

Bees come in red, blue and white colors. Most players eventually focus on one color, because many items and boosts reward bees of the same color. Red hives are known for strong boosts and damage, blue for big pollen bursts and white for supporting other bees.

Gifted bees

Gifted bees have extra stats and give a hive-wide bonus. Star Treats and some events give gifted bees. Each gifted bee type adds to your hive, so aim for variety.
