Gathering
Gathering wood, ore, fibre, hide and stone is a great start. Higher-tier and enchanted resources sell for much more, and riskier zones have better resources. Specialise in one or two resource types on the Destiny Board to gather faster.
Refining and crafting with focus
Focus points boost resource return when refining and crafting, making them much more profitable. Use focus every day, refine in cities with a bonus for that resource and craft items that are in demand. Check market prices in several cities before crafting.
The Black Market
The Black Market in Caerleon buys items to supply loot for mobs around the world. Some items sell there for more than on regular markets. It's a common way for crafters and transporters to profit — but Caerleon routes can be dangerous.
Zones and risk
Risk and reward go together:
- Blue zones are safe but offer lower-value resources.
- Yellow zones allow some PvP without full loot.
- Red and black zones have full-loot PvP and the best rewards.
- Only carry what you can afford to lose in dangerous zones.
Dungeons and PvE
Solo and group dungeons, Mists and Avalonian Roads give silver, loot and fame. Group content is more efficient and safer with a guild.
